Paper Snake is a remote animation studio specialising in gameplay and cinematics. We have collaborated with high-profile studios, both global and indie, bringing energy, talent, and enthusiasm to every project.
Initially established as an outsource studio, we have become increasingly sought after for co-development work, seamlessly integrating into existing teams. Our specialties include defining animation styles on a project-wide basis, creating bespoke animation pipelines with custom tools for efficient development, and authoring advanced game-ready character rigs.
With our agile approach to development, and emphasis on communication we adapt to the changing needs of your project. Our focus on daily reviews and feedback ensures our animation is of the highest quality.
We’ll bring decades of industry-leading animation experience to your project: whether you need direction, decisions on style or just want some top-drawer cinematic and movement sets done.
Our in-house rigging tools allow us to build consistent, intuitive, game-ready character rigs in a flash: from noodly spline arms to squash ‘n’ stretch, we’ve got you covered.
Maybe you’re banging your head against some repetitive, time-consuming snag in your pipeline. We’ll make that problem go away with a button-press.

Florie has been immersed in the world of comics since she could hold a pencil. When her local school introduced an animation course, it was a perfect fit. Now at Paper Snake, Florie channels her passion for storytelling into crafting stunning characters that breathe life into every project. In her downtime, you’ll find Florie juggling a variety of hobbies: she’s either working on her indie films, nurturing her vegetable garden, getting creative with crochet, or binge-watching the latest Sci-Fi series.

After graduating from Art School in Dundee, Claudia dove headfirst into the world of animation for film and TV. She has a passion for performance, movement, and acting, especially if there’s a camera involved. When she's not busy animating, you’ll likely find Claudia hiking up a hill. If she could figure out how to play a horror game while hiking, she’d be over the moon!
Kate grew up with a healthy love of Disney animation and later on was captured by the narrative power of video games like Red Dead Redemption. After completing iAnimate, we’re lucky enough to have her join the Paper Snake team!
